February Favourites! (2015)

Hey its finally March! How are you doing? I'm currently procrastinating, maybe I should stop hmm.. anyways here's my February favourites, and this is just the things I had been loving vvv much this month, of course there's a lot more I love but I decided to include fewer stuff so it doesn't get too stuffed.

Allegiant by Veronica Roth - I'd gotten really obsessed with the Divergent series so so much, but I actually enjoyed Divergent and Insurgent more than Allegiant (well I haven't finished it yet), maybe because I enjoyed it all in Tris' POV and not switching it from one to another all the time, but I still enjoyed it enough to be a part of monthly favourites.

FujiFilm Instax Mini 8 - I received this polaroid camera during Christmas and I had been taking loads of polaroids ever since. There are 7 different colours (white, pink, blue, yellow, black, raspberry, grape) raspberry and grape are the newest colours, comparing to the original colours its a lot brighter since the original colours are all pastel related (other than black). It comes with 5 different settings/lighting which could be used in different environment. They are absolutely adorable and handy when taking pictures with friends and family.

M.A.C Lipstick 'Kinda Sexy' -  I got this last year but the one in the picture is for my friend. Its a really nice nude colour which works on a variety of skin tones. It is a matte lipstick, but you don't have to worry about your lips getting chapped, since the texture is really creamy and nice. Plus it smells really nice, vanilla-ish cookie dough-ish <3

Smith's Rosebud Salve in a Tube - The tube is really convenient since you don't have to dab your finger or ruin it at all, the subtle rose scent and tint is lovely. Even though it's shiny on lips but its not sticky at all, keeping it moisturized at all time, but I'm not a big fan of petroleum based products.

Nike Free 5.0 (Hyper Punch) - When I first saw this at the store, I was like "OMG I needa get it!" so I did. Nike Free is known for the high flexibility which allows you to run freely, and ever since I received these shoes I wanted to run so badly! Definitely worth the price!

The Vampire Diaries - I've never been so obsessed with a TV show before, but I guess I am! I'm currently on 5x05 (season 5 episode 5) *burst out of tears* because of Bon Bon's death )): There are a lot of supernatural stuff and shipping going on #Klaroline #Delena #Stelena and all that stuff, I ship #Klaroline as much as I love pizza hehe

A Little Too Much by Shawn Mendes - How could you not love it!1!1! The lyrics of this song is everything, and so relatable (you will get what I mean if you listen to it) Actually a lot of Shawn's lyrics are so meaningful and relatable to us teenagers, but this song just stands out of all. Shawn is trying to tell us that its okay to show when you break down because everybody feels the same.

Crash Test Dummy - Reed Deming - Reed Deming is adorable hehe (he's only 16 like Shawn aksdsakgdsd) its a really catchy and meaningful (again!) It's a song about self acceptance, we as teenagers have so much to go through, and there is so much pressure that is put on us by the society, media, peers or parents. Its just a confusing journey figuring out who we are in this world and who we want to become, but I feel that despite all our flaws and imperfections, we need to accept who we truly are, even if we aren't perfect we still need to understand that no one else is.

Never Be Alone by Shawn Mendes - #sorrynotsorry but Shawn Mendes' songs are so empowering and the video is absolutely beautiful. By the way he's gonna be touring with Taylor Swift this year! Wow so much for a 16 year old Canadian boy aka my bae <3

Mikey Murphy - He had been my human favourites this month among with my all time faves 5SOS and Shawn Mendes (duhhh) he's another adorable human being! hehe

Liebster Award 2015 (I have no idea what this is!)

          So apparently, I have no clue what this 'Liebster Award 2015' thing is all about but I'll give it a try and see how it all works! So I had been nominated by my online bestie Lena and her friend Judy (Bubble Pandas) to do this more of a 'tag' thing. So based on Lena "Basically, whoever tags you asks you a bunch of fun questions and once you answer them, you create more questions to give to the people you tag". Yup I'm that lazy to explain what this really is and I think she explains it better than I could.

11 Interesting Facts About Me

1. When I was younger, I wanted to be a construction worker, just like bob the builder, weird right? I wonder what was wrong with (alliteration hehe) me at that time like wow okay?
2. I had gained almost 9kg in the past year, *blaming all the chocolates and pizzas* (you could never resist them anyways!)
3. I could never start working on my homework until midnight (especially the big ones) but still manage to finish em and get good grades :D (maybe except for biology because no one likes it) #procrastinationftw 
4. You know how people couldn't leave their house without their phones, for me its my lipstick or lipbalm, never wanna go out with chapped lips, they are gross ewww
5. I tried to dye my ends of my hair last year to a lighter shade of brown but I guess it failed and instead made it darker (note: always go for a shade or two lighter than the actual shade you want)
6. I wrote 4 songs so far (that I am satisfied with) and I write them anywhere and anytime.
7. I suck at doodling but I think I'm good at actual drawing and painting and those stuff 
8. I kissed a boy (cheeks only) on valentines day that I didn't really know
9. Till now, I'm still a really shy kid especially in school, and teachers would mention it in all my reports to talk more in class
10. I think I can sing well but I never sang out loud in front of anyone other than my parents who are super annoyed because I'm basically singing 24/7
11. I don't eat beef, mutton, goose, duck, and a lot more 'normal' type of meat

1. Where are you from and one thing you love about it?

• I'm from a little yet big city called Hong Kong, I love how modern yet historical or maybe old it could be, like a really modern skyscraper might be next to a post-war architect, isn't that cool?

2. What is your favourite junk food?

• My favourite junk would probably be Starbucks' frappuccinos, I guess you do count it as a junk food. But it's life, despite how unhealthy it is, I still drink it often.

3. Are you a procrastinator or are you the opposite?

• I could possibly be the biggest procrastinator maybe not, I procrastinate till midnight (apparently I have a book report, vocab quiz, maths quiz and a Chinese assessment tomorrow and I still haven't done anything)

4. Favourite social media platform?

• Hmmm this is a tough one, I really can't decide between YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, I mean I go on them the equal amount of time each day. (Basically telling me to choose between Shawn Mendes and Luke Hemmings)

5. Why did you start blogging?

• I don't really know the answer to this question, its like asking a fangirl why did they started getting obsessed with this one celebrity.

6. What is your dream? In other words, if you were given one wish, what would you wish for?

• I really have no idea, if you were asking the fangirl Joyce then probably meeting 5SOS and Shawn Mendes, the nerdy Joyce would be to get straight A's, and the me me ummm world peace maybe because this war is really freakish

7. Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what?

• I could actually sing well (I guess), hehe but I never sang loud in front of any of my friends or sing in a really weird tone/voice, never seriously 

8. What's your favourite animal?

• Penguins, like OH EM GEE they are SHOOOO cutie ahhh *dies*

9. If you were to live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

• Probably London because of their LANDAN accent *dies again*, and all those architects are fabulous, fish n chips too lol

Current Top 7 Favourite Songs!

Hello! Well, Lena, Judy and I had decided to do a collab together and for this time, the theme is 7 songs that we like the most (the song that you keep on playing and playing back and forth). I hope that you would enjoy mine!

These songs are in no particular order.

1. Rose(Lee Hi) – I am just simply in love with her, her voice is really young and smooth, and the song “Rose” just expressed her feelings and showed her talent.
2. Neon Lights (Demi Lovato) – I just love Demi Lovato, her voice, her music ….really represents her in person.
3.  Burn(Ellie Goulding) – This song is everywhere, in the malls, on my phone and even in IKEA…for some reasons, so then I felt like it’s amazing for no reasons.
4.  Roar(Katy Perry) – It’s a fast yet funky song and I love funky songs.
5. Let it go(Demi Lovato) – I like Demi Lovato’s version better, not only because I like her better, but it’s more explosive and crazier compared to Idina’s version, but Idina’s voice would suit the “Disney” theme better.
6. Safe and Sound (Taylor Swift) – OMGGGG!! I am a total swiftie, and this is my favourite song from her, its mysterious yet simple and cool! I also love the movie so this is totally my choice.
7. Royals(Lorde) – I really like the rhythm of the song, where it starts off with the beat thingie, and the lyrics are really meaningful.

My Favourite Lip Balms! Lip Balm Love

I found my lips are always dry for all seasons, I mean even in the summer times, I had tried out a lot of lip product and quite a few of them did not quite help me. Lip balm is something that I would carry all around, other than my phone, wallet and keys the must have would be a lip balm, and of course staying hydrated is always important in order to keep your lips moisturized. Now, I have such a huge addiction in collecting lip balms, and are hanging all around my house.

1. Vaseline Petroleum Jelly Lip Therapy Rosy - It is my favourite lip therapy lately, might not be the best. But it smells fantastic, it also comes with a bit of colour, with is really nice for school and natural makeup look. One thing I don't really like about it is that its not as convenient as chapstick or lip balms, you have to use your fingers to apply the product.
2. eos Blueberry Acai Smooth Sphere Lip Balm - I am so crazy about eos lip balms lately and also a great big hit! The flavour Blueberry Acai is my favourite so far, it smells sweet and delicious with amazing moisture to my lips. The sphere shape is definitely cute and easy, as you can easily apply the lip balm on your lips in just 1 or 2 tries.Its also 100% natural and 95% organic, definitely worth it.
3. Burt's Bee Beeswax Lip Balm -  Not the best kind of smell, but 100% natural and superb moisture! Even not as moisturize as others but not bad at all, just smells bit weird.
